OSH Cut is the only on-demand metal manufacturer in the world that offers first-principles DFM checks and instant pricing for bent tube parts, right in your web browser. Additionally, we make it incredibly easy for customers who don't have 3D models (or don't know how to design such parts) to configure bent tubing to their exact needs. We're currently bending tubing in 304 stainless steel as well as regular A513, 4130, and DOM 1020 steels. As you'll see in our Materials Catalog, we bend up to 1.5" OD and up to 0.120" wall thickness, depending on the material.

Combining tube laser cutting and bending in one service gives you super-powers. Our tube laser can cut precise holes and “fish-mouth” profiles on your tube ends, saving you the time and mess of drilling with a jig. Add precision tube bending and you can get precise parts, bent to spec, quickly and easily.

Why tube bending? And why now?
Tubes make for amazing structures. They’re strong, pre-formed, and fantastic for creating complex geometry. For far too long, the process for obtaining bent tube prototypes has either been expensive, labor intensive, ridiculously time consuming, or simply unavailable. That’s changing now with OSH Cut, and this service opens up some serious doors for the automotive, robotics, construction, energy, and manufacturing industries.

What sizes/materials will be supported?
We currently bend steel (A513, 4130, and DOM 1020) and stainless steel (304) tubing with diameters of up to 1.5” and wall thicknesses up to 0.120". We are tooling up to be able to bend up to 3" OD in the very near future.
Can I get instant pricing like the other OSH Cut services?
Yes. Our online quoting app checks your tube design for manufacturability and provides you with instant pricing. If you don’t already have a 3D file for your bent part, you can use our advanced tube configurator to create and download a production file that passes all DFM checks.
What if I need both laser-cut holes in my parts?
Using our system, you can easily select the features you want cut. Just know that in order to avoid deformation issues, our system won’t allow cutouts within 2 tube diameter lengths of the bend region.
What bend radii do we offer?
Our dies accommodate centerline radii that are generally 2x the tube diameter (so for a 1" tube, we'll have a 2" bend radius). Certain materials, such as 4130 Chromoly have the option for a 3" bend radius as well.
