Instant Pricing on Fabricated Parts
Upload a drawing with bend lines to get instant pricing on fabricated parts, in over 80 supported materials and thicknesses, in any quantity, and with any number of bends. Our automated system will render your part to show you how it will look after bending, giving you confidence that you'll get exactly what you expect. Check out our bend guidelines and bending design rules pages for more details.
Our online quoting system gives you tools to optimize your part for fabrication, including specifying grain direction of your cut parts, and "optimizing for bending," which tells us to layout your parts on the sheet so that the grain direction is consistent, making bends more repeatable when you put them on a brake.
Our nesting engine analyzes your job to minimize the amount of material used, passing any material savings on to you. You can have confidence that our instant online prices offer the best value, regardless of the size of your job.
Exact savings depend on the size and shape of your parts, and the material cost. When your parts are shaped in a way that allows them to be combined efficiently, savings can be significant!
Instant Manufacturability Feedback
After you upload your drawings, our online system analyzes your parts and points out issues that could affect finish quality or general manufacturability. You can use our system's feedback to improve your designs without lengthy back-and-forth with the shop, and without unexpected results when you order your first batch.
What are your lead-times for laser-cut metal parts?
Our standard lead-time is 5 business days for prototype and short-run laser cutting jobs, but there are options during checkout for lead-times as quick as same-day when enough material is in stock. We guarantee whatever lead-time you select during checkout, but we'll cut your job early when we can.
Do you offer bending?
We do! Our instant quoting system allows you to specify bends in your part, and it provides instant pricing just like it does for flats. Check out our bending guide for more details.
Can you cut a material not listed in your instant quoting app?
Sometimes! Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your drawing(s), quantity, and material type, and we'll see if we can help you out. We do not cut non-metal materials, however.
I was very surprised to immediately see pricing, including volume discounts. I placed an order and emailed with a couple questions and received a very fast response.
My first order was only 10 pieces, but they were very carefully stacked and shrink wrapped to protect the mil finish AL sheet … They were perfect and … I am about to place a follow up order for several hundred.
This company is awesome. I've worked with a handful of different laser cutting companies, including local ones in town. These guys do a much better job, and the cost is the same even with shipping.
If you're looking for just plain cut metal with no finishing, these are definitely the guys to go do.
I was previously using a waterjet to cut 0.062 aluminum and some holes had to be cut undersized then drilled to fit a pressnut. With Oshcut I measured these holes to be within 0.002". No need to drill!! I am really impressed with the quality.
Also they have great customer service. And they are fast. And the price is much lower than I was paying before.
We started OSH Cut to modernize the laser-cutting and metal fabrication industry.
Our personal and business projects often required laser-cut, fabricated metal, and we were continuously amazed by the fact that shops took so long just to provide pricing. Inconsistent pricing, slow response time, and long leads tended to make the process frustrating. We decided it was time to start our own metal cutting service to solve this problem.
We wrote software to automate quoting and order processes, and set up the service that we wanted to use. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!
